THE ROLE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE MODERN EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

Abstract
The article analyzes the transformation of the educational process under the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) systems and digital technologies. Based on data from international studies 2024–2026, including reports from Microsoft and UNESCO, the benefits of adaptive learning, personalization of educational trajectories, and optimization of the teacher's workload are considered. Particular attention is paid to the linguodidactic potential of intelligent chatbots, automatic speech recognition (ASR) systems, and robot assistants in teaching Russian as a Foreign Language (RFL). The author explores the possibilities of AI in inclusive education, supporting neurodivergent students, and analyzes the specifics of implementing these technologies in the educational space of Uzbekistan. The paper examines ethical risks such as neural network “hallucinations” and the phenomenon of scientific focus narrowing when using AI.
