Abstract
The article examines modern trends in improving the culture of innovation within the higher education system. It emphasizes that universities are becoming key centers of innovative development, where conditions are created for the formation of entrepreneurial thinking and research competencies. Special attention is given to the role of deep learning, as well as project- and research-based methods that promote the development of students’ critical thinking, independence, and creativity. The article analyzes changes in assessment approaches driven by digitalization and the advancement of analytical technologies. It highlights the importance of integrating digital tools, hybrid learning formats, and augmented reality technologies to build a practice-oriented educational environment. Issues of digital literacy, collaborative learning, and informal education that affect the quality of student training are also discussed. The article concludes that a systematic approach to innovation, modernization of infrastructure, and a rethinking of the teacher’s role as a mentor and facilitator are essential for improving the higher education process.
