Abstract

This article examines the principles of selecting and integrating podcasts in the training of future English teachers. Podcasts provide authentic language input and promote listening and speaking skills. They foster learner autonomy and encourage independent study. The use of podcasts also enhances digital competence and prepares students for technology-rich classrooms. Overall, podcasts contribute to developing pedagogical awareness and professional readiness among future educators.
