Abstract
This article examines the role of the Russian language as an important tool for cultural adaptation in the context of globalization. It explores the historical and social factors that have contributed to the spread of the Russian language and highlights its significance in the educational, cultural, and digital spheres. Particular attention is paid to the functions of Russian as a means of intercultural communication and integration. The study also analyzes contemporary challenges, including competition with the English language, declining interest in learning Russian, and the influence of political and digital factors.
