Abstract
Thyroid nodules are widespread in the population and require accurate stratification of malignancy risk to justify indications for fine-needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) and surgical treatment. Accurate assessment helps reduce unnecessary medical procedures and alleviate the financial burden.
